

Donald "Ted" Gengler, age 68, of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born April 7, 1957 at Suburban General Hospital in Allegheny County. He was the son of the late Donald Leo Gengler and the late Lucille (Loscar) Gengler.
He is survived by his three loving sons, Jonathan (Nikki), Brian, and Andy (Ashley). Grandfather to Zoe, Ronni, Greyson, Wyatt and his soon-to-be-expected grandchild. He is also survived by his six brothers, Kevin, Douglas (Diane), Michael, Jeffrey (Rhonda), Daniel (Deisha) and Gary (Tracy). Uncle to Cassie, Elijah, Derek, Noah, Emily and Kayla.
Ted started his life out working as a welder/burner at Fey Steel and later on at IGK Greulich. He received his education at Industrial Testing Laboratory Services Corp., Pittsburgh, PA. where he received certificates in shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding. His latest career was at Kawneer, where he worked in the packaging and fabrication area.
Ted was a caring father, and his selfless acts led to being keen on putting others before his own needs. He enjoyed welcoming visitors, vacationing with his three sons, riding motorcycles and spending time on the Gengler family farm.
Friends and family are invited to the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Butler County Humane Society at 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
