Age 87, of Avalon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Carole, his children, grandchildren and large loving family. Ed enjoyed playing Dart Ball and softball well into his 80’s, a co-founder of the Northern Allegheny County Senior Softball League and played on the Gold Medal team in the Senior Olympics. He was a member of the Wycoff Steel Mill Softball team, where he had worked for 27 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 154, Orchard Ave., Emsworth, with a reception of family and friends immediately following.
