Elaine B. Simpson, 82, of Bellevue, passed on Sunday, October 4, 2015. She was born April 5, 1933, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late James and Rebecca (Bell) Simpson. In her early life she fought through polio. She went on to graduate form Olive High School and then started a career as an insurance agent with Travelers Life Insurance. In addition to he parents, Elaine was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Kelly. She is survived by her sister, Shirley White, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being personalized by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to a charity of one's choice.
