Dear Mom, How can it already be a year today that you have been gone? The memory of August 11 was on "rewind" for all your family today and you were honored at Mass, candles lit by the Blessed Mother, visits at the cemetery, flowers in coffee shop, bunny pancakes being made for breakfast,your favorite movie, Hachi, watched...and texts,  phone calls, and facebook exchanged from Pittsburgh to Greenville to Michigan to Ohio to California....and lots of tears as we still...and forever...miss you SO much! But now we know it's time to live our lives as you would want us to do and release this first year of grief to moving on to the years ahead of happiness with weddings and birthdays and celebrations of joy!
God took you a year ago in body but He left your spirit with us in our hearts and souls. You are part of who we are and your love will never be taken from us. Heaven may be your new address but our hearts will forever be your home!!! I love you so very, very much Mom..." faith, trust and pixie dust"!:) Chriss

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! This day has been relived with all the heartfelt memories of last Mother's day, especially coming back from the breast cancer walk to see you all dressed in pink waiting for us...you were radiantly beautiful ...I will never forget how you looked that day! That was the same pink outfit we chose to send you to heaven in where we know you will be waiting again for us! Today I am replacing my sadness and tears of not having you here with deepest gratitude and joy for having you as my mother for 6o years ..God gave us all the BEST, like He gave Mary as the BEST mother to His  own Son!     Death may end a life but it doesn't end a relationship! You are my Mom forever and I am forever your daughter...I love you and miss you SO much!!!!

Dear Mom, You left us six months ago today and it isn't any easier to believe or accept your death than it was that night of August 11..." where you are, Mom?"  We are all trying to live with the space you vacated in your home, our lives, and our hearts, but we can't fill those empty spaces no matter how much we try or pray.  I miss you more than less every single day and the only way I find strength to go on without you is in my faith...the faith that you gave me...  thank you, Mom, for that forever gift! Words can not describe how much I miss you plus I know that the bright red cardinal I have seen everyday is my ANGEL!!! It's been soooo hard not to stop by and say I Love you!!!! A week ago today I said my final good bye, but isn't wasn't good bye- I WILL see you again and I know until that day you will be with me everyday to make sure I am always headed down the right path in my life. You will be the angel that guides me in the right direction to make sure I'm the happiest I should be. Words cannot express how much I miss you! You will never be gone to me...just in a better place . 
We all love you grandma and will never forget how you have taught us how important and blessed our family is!

Thank you for being such an inspiration. You handled life's ups and downs with such grace, and put the needs of others always before your own. I was truly blessed to have you as my Aunt, my Godmother, and for many years-my neighbor. I will never forget the many times I tapped on your screen door and yelled in "Aunt Betty", and how happy I was to see your smiling face as you answered my call. I will forever hear your kind words and see your welcoming face.

Grandma there are no words to express how wonderful you were. You were the most compassionate person I have ever met & one of the strongest as well. Life threw you some curve balls but you always bounced back from them. Thank you for keeping Gary very much alive to me my entire life. I feel like I know him & a lot of that is because of you. I will never forget your sloppy joes, spinach balls & buckeyes, just some of my grandma favorites :-) You will always be in my heart & we will see each other one day. I am so blessed to have spent those wonderful summers with my best friend Tricia and all of you.  Betty was my "2nd" Grandma along with my "2nd" Mom (love you Chris!)  She was such a beautiful, strong woman who will live on forever in all of us.  Big hugs and kisses to the entire family.

So very sorry to hear of your loss.  Betty always has a kind word for everyone along with her beautiful smile. I remember with fond memories all of us going to the beach together and renting a huge old house on the beach.  Oh the fun and laughter we all had together.  Goodness, that was probably 40 years ago!!  My sympathy goes out to you.

Dear Mom.."where you are?" You & I said that silly greeting everytime we talked! So, Mom, "where you are now?" You're not at your house where we are now, but we know where you moved...to heaven, your eternal home.

Kathy I want you to know how sorry Wade & I are at the loss of your Mom.  Anyone who has lost a loved one (especially a parent) is sharing in your pain. Everyone who knew Betty had to love her.  Betty was always friendly, happy to see you, wanting to know how you were.  There was always a big smile and, of course, laughter, concern, and just plain love.  That was Betty.  She always made me feel at home and special when Jerry and I would come over.  My thought is that as time passes, the tears of the present will evolve into smiles at her thought.  It was great to see many of you at the house Sunday.  You are a GREAT family!!!!  I love you.
