

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie with whom he had been married for 33 years, his children, Ryan (Jill) Boggs; Nicole (Alex) Krajniak; Kyle (Rebecca) Boggs and five grandchildren, Madison Boggs, Mason Boggs, Meyer Boggs, Calden Krajniak, and Elia Boggs, who adored him. In addition to his mother, Martha Boggs; siblings, Edward II (Pat) Boggs, Kimberly Wagner, and Donna (Kieth) Pruss.
Gary retired from Matrix of Canonsburg, PA after 30 years of service as a construction manager. He was also a 32 Degree Mason of Lodge No. 2 in Detroit and a Shriner. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to collect tractors, work on carpentry, fly planes, fish and golf. Most of all, Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 2, 2025. from 1:00 PM to 4:00 and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2025. at 10:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church 800 Avila Ct. Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Gibsonia.
