George W. Wills, age 92, of Adams Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Husband of the late Pauline (Stim) Wills; brother of Jean Beacha of Valencia, uncle of two nieces, Amy Beacha of McCandless and Carolyn Estoker of Hudson, Ohio. George was a veteran of World War II and served his country during the invasion at Anzio Beach. He was a great lover of animals (especially cats), was a bright outspoken man with a great sense of humor and traveled the West with his wife. He always enjoyed hearing his wife play the organ. George was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh as well as a contributor. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township (412-364-4444). Services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11 AM. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to Animal Friends.
