Helen L Kumpfmiller Dougherty

On Sunday March 19, 2017, Helen Dougherty, age 96 of Hampton Fields formerly of Shaler Township, passed away peacefully. Wife of the late George E. Dougherty, Sr.; loving mother of George Edward Dougherty, Jr. and his wife Mel of McCandless and the late George Eugene Dougherty; proud grandmother of Colleen Kimmel and her husband Michael of Franklin Park and Karen Mottl and her husband Mickey of Broadview Heights, Ohio; great-grandmother of Mickey and Mickayla Mottl; sister of the late Martha Breitenbach and Marie Erk. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Healy-Hahn Funeral Home, Inc., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale (412-821-2940). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Church, Etna, on Wednesday at 11 AM. Entombment will follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to All Saints Church, 19 Wilson St., Pittsburgh, PA 15223 or Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Road, Suite 320, Wexford, PA 15090. Helen will be remembered for spending precious time with her family, her generosity and love of dancing.
