Helen M. Stone

Age 92, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014

A beloved wife and mother, she was a truly magnificent woman.

Born in Perrysville to Herman and Stella Sippel.

She graduated from Perry High School and Robert Morris University.

In April 1944, she traveled to the Air Field in Biloxi, MS to marry the love of her life, Walter "Curt" Stone. They were married for 38 years.

She was an avid golfer at Highland Country Club, where she played bridge with a group from Perry High School for 60 continuous years.

She is survived by her son, Dr. William C. Stone, his wife Vickie and his three sons, David, Robert, and Christopher Stone

And her daughter, Judy Stone Jordan, her husband, William and two children, Kate Jordan Augusto and William C. Jordan

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Curtis Stone, her three brothers Robert Sippel, Carl Sippel and William H. Sippel and a grandson, Thomas Stone Jordan.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Neumann Church on Thursday at 10:00.
