She was born on October 18, 1937 in Sewickley, PA to the late Edith (MacEwing) and William B. Mottern.
Janet was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was a retired German Language teacher for the Quaker Valley School District. She was a sixty year resident of Franklin Park, and served on the Planning Commission and Parks and Recreation Board for many years.
She is survived by her children, Tracy Budzynski (Dennis) and Joseph Demma; her brother and sister-in-law, William and Linda Mottern, grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Budzynski, niece and nephew Charlene (Joe) Motonis and Vincent (Keith Presty) Mottern.
A private service and celebration of life will be held at her brother’s farm.
