

He was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Pittsburgh. He served as a machinist's mate third class in the Navy from 1943 until 1946. He retired after more than 30 years employment with Combustion Services and Equipment. Jack is survived by sons John "Jack" {Barb} Crawford Jr. of Bridgeville, Spencer Alton Crawford of North Carolina, and a daughter Tea (Jerry) Mieszkowski Crawford of New Kensington, grandchildren John {Jan} Crawford III, Bonnie {Paul} Eichler, Crystal {Tris} McBride, Tamara Hudec {Dave} Kimball, Chuck Crawford, Christina Crawford, great-grandchildren John IV, Chris, Jacob, Rachel and Abby Crawford, Bob and Dan Eichler, Brandy, Flynn and Justan McBride, and Angelique Hudec and several step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Lynn Crawford and Raymond M. Crawford.
Friends will be received Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11a.m. Monday in St. Catherine of Sweden Catholic Church, Wildwood. Entombment will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
