On Monday, February 13, 2012, John, 96, of Baldwin Boro., Beloved Husband of 70 years to Anne L. (Zelena) Montana; Father of Barbara A. (Ronald G.) Smith of LA; Grandfather of Hallie (Anthony) Sciulli and Jason (Parrish) Smith; Great-Grandfather of Cassandra, Caroline, Daniel, Jon Patrick and Christian; Brother of the late Bruno Montana and Connie Sprites. John was a US Army Veteran WWII, Member of VFW Post 1940, Carpenters Union Local 373 and former employee of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District. Friends received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the GRIFFITH MORTUARY, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, Broughton-Curry-South Park Twp., where Blessing Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM. The family suggests donations in John’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
