John was born on September 7, 1960 in Roslyn, NY. John is the son of the late Anne and William T. Plunkett of Mineola, NY. He is survived by his sister, Mary Anne (Steve) and brother, Paul (Stephanie).
John was born and raised in Mineola, NY. John graduated Adelphi University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He attended University of Pittsburgh and received his Master’s Degree in Health Administration and has been living in Pittsburgh since that time.
Everyone loved John! He was good friend to all. John was a “fun-loving” guy who loved to be with his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was especially proud of his niece and nephews; Steven and Lauren Oleksiw and Justin, Collin and Brandon Plunkett
John loved living in Pittsburgh, working on special projects around the home and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan!
Funeral Services will take place in New York.
