Beloved father of John (Kelly) Skelton, Michele (Daryl) Grund and Chrissy (Frank) Vincenzo; loving grandfather of Abby Grund, Bella Vincenzo, Brady Skelton & Nathan Grund. Also survived by his companion, Susan Willemsen.
John was a proud veteran of the Unites States Navy having served in Vietnam with the Seabee’s. He later went on to the Army Reserves and worked for 30 years with the Department of the Army.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 1-3 & 5-8 pm in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave, Avalon, 412-766-5600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption.
