John Lee Zotter

Born in Allegheny County on May 6, 1950, he was the son of the late John George Zotter and Jean Behr Zotter.

John was a 1968 graduate of North Allegheny High School. He went on to graduate from Robert Morris University, where he met his best friend, Bill “Hog” Landis. Sharing memories and stories from the “trailer park” always provided moments of laughter and hilarity, even until the end.

John is survived by the love of his life who he “loved more than anything”, Chrisann Lacey Zotter, who he married on September 1, 1973. They were high school sweethearts, their first date being junior prom in 1966. Loving daughters Jen (Tim) of Strasburg, VA and Julie of Allison Park, PA who were the light of his life. His daily phone calls, words of wisdom, thoughtful gifts and endless worry will be an irreplaceable void. His loyal companion, Bruiser, will continue to provide comfort and joy to the family in his absence.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff M. Zotter.

A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237, prayers will take place at 5:30 PM.
