Kyle Chase Johnson

Age 23, of Pittsburgh, while competing in the 2013 Pittsburgh Marathon on Sunday, May 5. Cherished son of Dan (Mary Frances) Johnson and Mary Beth (Bryan) Deal; brother of Seth Johnson; grandson of Eleanor and the late Darrell Johnson, Martin and Anne Kasaback, Bud and Sandra Deal, and Irwin and the late Mildred Dean; also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kyle was a 2008 graduate of North Allegheny High School where he was a senior member of the 2007 undefeated football team and sang in the Chamber Chorus. He was a 2012 graduate of the Penn State University Smeal College of Business with a degree in accounting. He was a proud member of the Penn State Lion Ambassadors. His interests included family, friends, working out, all sports, reading, travel, and a good debate. He was personable, charismatic, articulate, with a great sense of humor and adventure. He will leave a deep void by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received Wed. 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-364-4444.
