Lawrence J. Steinmetz, 94 of Shaler Twp. passed away on November 30, 2021. Larry was born on September 20, 1927, to the late Lorenz and Theresa Steinmetz. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the US Navy.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Eleanor of 67 years; his children Larry Jr. (Amy), and Lisa (Keith).
Grandpap of Zach (Megan), Nick, Lindsay (Chase), Jess (Samantha) and Nicolette. Great Grandpap of Palmer and Adelaide.
He loved hunting, polka music and sunbathing. The BEST decision Larry made in his later years was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and spending his time reading the bible.
