
Age 93, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in Mercer. Wife of the late Andrew J. Puskas, a retired City of Pittsburgh Police Officer; mother of William, Donald and Andrea Puskas; sister of Dolores Austin and Thomas Lennon; also survived by ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, two brothers, and a grandson, Thomas Puskas. Dixie lived in Pittsburgh for 70 years, where she was a hairstylist and salon owner since 1932. She belonged to the Sweet Adeline's, Golden Triangle Chapter, for 35 years, serving four terms as President. She moved to Florida in 1989, where she organized The Falls Seranders, a chorus of men and women. "Thanks for the memories" to my family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 noon- 6:00 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC. 1302 Perry Highway, Ross Twp. 412-364-4444. A Memorial Service of eulogies, prayers and music will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
