Martha “Marcy” Scoumis, 77 of Avalon, on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Beloved wife of Orastio “Rusty” Scoumis. Loving mother of Catherine Goysovich, Christina Dedrick, John (Athena) Buckoske, Ann Mackrella, Patricia Fiorenzo, David (Mary Ann) Buckoske, Orestes Scoumis, Katherine Landsittel and Connie Bulgarelli; proud grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 12. Marcy was a familiar face working as a cashier at the Kuhns Market in Bellevue.
Visitation and service will be private. Interment to follow at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements entrusted to Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to charity of choice.
