Mildred M. Friday

Mildred M. "Millie" Friday, age 97, of Ross Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at St. John's Specialty Care in Mars. Born May 9, 1923, in Eldersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Wagner. She was a surgical fitter for McArdle Surgical, retiring at the age of 88. She loved life, playing cards, and dining out. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald H. Friday (1994), three brothers; Joe, John, and Paul Wagner; three sisters; Elsie Tau, Helen Sumney, and Anna Smigiel. She was also preceded in death by a great grand-daughter; Monroe Leigh Beckert.

She is survived by a son, Dennis (Susen) Friday, and one daughter, Lynette (Bruce) Beckert. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Craig (Kelly) Friday, Lindsay (Fred Astey) Beckert, and Todd (Jessica) Beckert; and one great grandchild; Elle Friday.
