

Richard was also known as "Turtle" because he was a very slow, quiet, patient, and calm-natured man. He worked at Bell Telephone/Verizon for nearly forty years. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, bowling and most especially, spending time with his friends, family, and dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Pflugh; two children, Richard J. Pflugh (Fiancé, Erin Lori), and Karen Dulemba (Fiancé, Todd Moore); six grandchildren, Carter, Bryce, Kadence, Chase, Isabelle, and Holden; three brothers, Donald (Patricia) Pflugh, Gary (Marlene) Pflugh, and Terence (Jody) Pflugh. He is also survived by many family and friends.
Richard's viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15237. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home. There will be a viewing one hour prior to service.
