At age 94, on Saturday, October 25, 2014, Rita peacefully passed away, formerly of Reserve Twp. Beloved wife of the late Earl "Red" Meister; loving mother of Paul Meister (Peggy), Patricia "Patty" Thomas (Dale) and the late Robert Meister; also survived by ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Friends received Sunday, November 2, 2014, from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the HEARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4047 Perrysville Ave., Observatory Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 3, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Incarnation of the Lord Parish. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to Incarnation Parish, 4071 Franklin Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15214.
