Robert D. Phillips, 61, of McCandless Twp., formerly of Ross Twp., on Monday, June 25, 2012. Loving brother of Dr. John Q. Phillips, Jr., and fiancée Leslie Salandro, Susan J. Phillips and husband Mark Held; proud uncle of Marcy Held, Meloni (James) Reilly, John Q Phillips, III and Micheal (Jason)Widrig. Preceded in death by his parents Dr. John Q. Phillips, Sr. and Mary Dodds Phillips. Robert was a member of the Glenshaw Presbyterian Church, a longtime choir member and an avid Steeler fan.
Friends received Thursday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon 412-766-5600. Funeral service and interment will be private. A memorial service will be held Friday 7:00pm at the Glenshaw Presbyterian Church. Contributions may be made in Robert’s name to Glenshaw Presbyterian Church, 300 Glenn Ave., Glenshaw, PA 15116.
