So sorry to hear about Chris's passing. It's been a very long time since I had seen him once the family moved out of Stanton Heights. I always looked forward to playing in his parents basement with the fake bricks and making forts and what not and going swimming at the Jewish club. R.I.P Chris you will be sadly missed by friends and family.

Chris was such a character, he drove me nuts but I will always remember so many happy times together- as kids, as teenagers, as young men.

Music was what first drew us together, even as children, and it was so integral to Chris' life- any kind of music, as long as it was good.

Gerry, Ron, you treated me like family and I'll never forget your kindness and generosity- not to mention your secret family recipe Italian cooking.

Your family, Fauna's and the kids, will always be in mind & prayers.

Chris was always a fan of powerful music... I think he'd like 2 Chron 5:13.. 

"The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: He is good; his love endures forever.

True condolences to the Butera family.
I remember meeting Chris about 25 yrs ago. 
I was still in High School.
He was a memerable character, a part of the scene.
Chris was also Italian.
I understand he had a child.
So many people from our social circle are gone now.
My heart goes out to all who were close to Chris, or XL as many of us called him. 
Chris had been to my home, met my mom, we broke bread together.
Memories of him, and so many of our old friends stay fresh in my mind like we were young, healthy& having fun together only yesterday.
So hard to imagine him leaving so soon.
Sometimes I cry for yesterday, in my ordinary world...

Butera Family.    No words can express how this news has brought my eyes to tears.  My heart breaks for you Fauna and Family. We can only pray for you to try to get through the tough days ahead.
