Sally B. Bortmess

She was the loving wife to Roy Bortmess who she married on June 13th, 1959. They raised 3 children; Jill Eichner, Pam Mueller (Glenn McElroy), Kurt Bortmess (Cheryl Cook). She was the doting and devoted grandmother to; Tim (Caitlin) Mueller, Troy Mueller, Ethan Bortmess, Emily Eichner and great grandmother to; Patrick, Sally and Hattie. She will be missed by her brother Jay Basler and many nieces and nephews.

Sally will be remembered for being a bonus grandma to the neighborhood kids. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a lifetime member to Ross Community Presbyterian Church.

Friends are invited to the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237 on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. Funeral Service will take place on November 12, 2021 at 11:30AM at the funeral home with luncheon to follow at Silvionis.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Ross Community Presbyterian Church 4501 Nelson Run Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15214 in memory of Sally.

Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
