Sarah "Sally" Anderson

Sarah (Sally) Anderson, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born in McKees Rocks, PA, on July 23, 1918, to Natalie and Edward Bovard. She graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School and then went on to graduate beauty school. Sally was preceded in death by her husbands, Bernard (Pete) Anderson and Howard McGregor; son, Robert Anderson; granddaughter, Heidi Anderson; great grandson, Noah Boyer, and son-in-law Dennis Duffy. She is survived by her children, Natalie (Joe) Potetz of Chandler, IN, Bernard Dennis (Janet) Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA, Sally Lynn Duffy of Mountainhome, PA, and Michael (Carol) Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA; half-sister June Pierce of Puyallup, WA; ten granddaughters, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Friday, July 28th, 2017, 4pm to 8pm at Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave, Avalon, PA 15202. Funeral Mass at Ascension Worship Site of St Philips Parish, 114 Berry Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 at 10am.
