Thomas Grogan Sr.

Thomas Grogan, Sr., 86, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2023 in Pittsburgh. He was born to the late James Grogan, Sr. and Violet (Stevens) Grogan on October 16, 1937. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Petosky) Grogan; and his eight siblings.

Tom proudly worked as a union carpenter for over 60 years. He was an avid, skilled huntsman and enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. Tom also loved the many dogs he owned over the years, and took great joy in spoiling them.

Tom is survived by his beloved companion of 33 years, Eileen Arlia; his children, Thomas Grogan, Jr. (Joan) and Lorie Wikert (Fred); grandchildren, Nicole Gronsky (Adam), Lindsay Myszak (Marc), and Paige Grogan; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leslie Petosky (Claudia); and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Athanasius Church, 7 Chalfonte Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229. Interment to follow at Saint Mark Cemetery in McKees Rocks.
