Trudy Hill

Trudy Hill, 75, passed away on July 7, 2023 in Pittsburgh. She was born to the late Richard and Vivian Hill on February 20, 1948 in Export, PA. In addition to her parents, Trudy is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Hill.

Trudy will be remembered as a generous, exuberant spirit who loved to help anyone in need. Always the social butterfly, Trudy made friends with anyone she met. Trudy especially enjoyed trips, activities, and camps through Allegheny Valley Schools and Best Buddies, where she could spend time with her friends. She was kind to all animals (especially dogs!) and immediately lit up whenever she saw a dog heading her way. Trudy liked to express her creative side through ceramics and crocheting, often making blankets to give to others as gifts. When she wasn’t with friends, Trudy enjoyed spending time with her nieces and great-nephews, who brought so much joy to her heart. She will be deeply missed.

Trudy is survived by her sister, Vicki Hill; nieces, Erica Hill (Jordan) and Kelly McIntosh (Caleb); great-nephews, Holden, Finnegan, and Lachlan; and her sister-in-law, Susan Hill.
