W. Dorothy Weber Drucis

W. Dorothy Drucis, of Avalon, on Monday, August 6, 2012. Beloved wife of 50 years to Thomas Drucis. Loving mother of Thomas (Kristin) and Michael (Kim) Drucis; proud grandmother of Abigail Rose, Lillian Grace, Connor Michael, Gavin Christopher, and Jack Thomas; sister of William (Margaret) Weber; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sister Marie Cullen. Dorothy grew up on North Side attended Oliver High School and was a graduate of Duff’s Business School. Her first job was at Crucible Steel in the engineering department. She also worked for Derby & Co., Pittsburgh then found her passion as a Real Estate Agent working for Young Agency, Bernhard Realty, Northwood Realty and Stonebridge Real Estate. A special thank you for the heroic efforts of Dr.’s McGovern and McGregor of the AGH Cardiac Unit. As well as the special tender loving care given by the ICU staff and nurses.

Family and friends received Friday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon 412-766-5600. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Saturday at the Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth. Interment to follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
