

On February 11, 2021, William B Johnson passed with quiet dignity from this life to join his beloved wife, Rita, in heaven. Born in 1938 in Bronxville, New York, Bill attended LaSalle Military Academy, and spent two years in the Army.
He began his financial career at Long Island Trust Company, worked many years for Mellon Bank and retired from First National Bank. Bill loved socializing, trivia, storytelling and imparting great wisdom on his loved ones. He enjoyed volunteering where he felt he could be of help and when he started losing his sight, he penned financial articles for the Keystone Blind Association.
Known as a kind, classy, and very handsome gentleman, Bill is survived by his daughter, Karen (Fred) Wheeler, sister Nan (Chipper) Chimento, bother-in-law, Heinz (Betty) Katasanow, grandchildren, Rob (Amber) Schmidt, Amanda Repas, Holly Repas, Craig Wheeler, Kellen (Kim) Wheeler, Stephen (Hope) Wheeler and Jasmine (TJ) Chess, great granddaughters, Logan and Marlo Wheeler and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, February 14, 2021, from 2-6pm at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15237, www.brandtfuneralhome.com. Funeral prayers will at the funeral home on Monday morning, February 15, 2021 at 10:15am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Catherine of Sweden Church at 11:00am. Burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage, PA. In lieu of flower donations can be made to the Keystone Blind Association, 3056 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148.
