William John Probst Jr., age 83, of Wexford, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. William was born in Pittsburgh, PA. attended North Allegheny High School and Duquesne University. Served in the U.S. Army and upon return to civilian life he was a Realtor with Allegheny Northern Real Estate.
In 1970 he accepted an appointment with the Veterans' Administration in Philadelphia as a counselor, eventually heading the Specially Adapted Housing Program for disabled veterans where he was responsible for the design, modification and construction of homes until his retirement in 1994. He is survived by Edward Grossman-Probst, his partner\husband of 54 years.
