Alice was born in Cool Iowa to Clarence and Bessie Parker. She was the seventh child born in a family of
eight children. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 66 years Wayne, her parents, sisters Wilma
Douglas, Bonnie Young, Arlene Knouse, Lela Benge, brother Don Parker and son in law Jim Turner. She is
survived by her sister Betty Dale and brother Howard (Jim) Parker both of Indianola IA, five children
Wayne Fletcher Jr (Della) Elk Grove CA, Maxine (Mickie) Turner Gardnerville NV, Linda Lemieux (Pete)
Star ID, Donald Fletcher (Diane) Ione CA, and David Florence OR. Alice had 11 grandchildren and 19
great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Alice loved the Giants (favorite player was Buster Posey) and San Francisco 49ers, gardening, walking, jigsaw puzzles, family visits, bingo and an occasional trip to Red Hawk Casino. She and her husband Wayne enjoyed RV trips together. Alice worked in the food industry for many years, retiring after 20 years from the City of Sacramento as a meter maid. After retirement she spent 30 plus years living in El Dorado County. Mother, sister,grandma, great grandma, aunt, cousin and friend—you will be MISSED!
A service and Celebration of Life is scheduled on March 30, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Pines, 2855 Cold Springs Road,
Placerville CA.
