Bobby "Bob" Bridges

Bobby (Bob) Lloyd Bridges was born April 1, 1931 in Polk County, MO. Bob was a lifelong educator and a resident of El Dorado County for more than 46 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman who loved fishing with his grandson, Christopher. Known for his great sense of humor, Bob had a weekly ritual of trading jokes with his granddaughter, Campbell, as well as a collection of joke books. Bob was an Army veteran who was passionate regarding those who served our country. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a friend to all and one who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ellie, his children Tim (Allison) Bridges and Kari (Mel) Guthrie, grandchildren Campbell Bridges, Kayla (Kelly) Horton and Christopher Guthrie, and great grandchildren Landon and Carson Horton. He was preceded in death by his grandson Matthew.

All are invited to a Memorial service at 11:00 am, Thursday 4/24/2014 at Cold Springs Community Church, 2600 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, CA.
