Edmund "Ed" Reeves

Edmund (Ed) Reeves was born in San Jose to Edd and Vivian Reeves. He served as a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1973. He married the love of his life Rhonda in 1972 and together they moved to Placerville, and had 3 children. Ed retired as a correctional officer at Folsom Prison in 2006. Ed went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his children and family after a long courageous battle with prostate cancer.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Rhonda, his parents Vivian and Edd and sister Diane. He is survived by his three children, Josh, Zach and Dana; grandchildren Tyler, Jake, Brody, Ella, Audrey, Rian and Abby, His son in law and daughters in law. His sister Martha Reeves and cousin Linda Ring.

Ed will forever be remembered by his friends and family for his love of his family, his love for the Lord, and his love of hunting and the outdoors.

A Celebration of Ed’s life will take place Saturday, 10/24/2015, at 1:00pm at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA. Online condolences may be posted at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com.
