Gene Rheault was born October 16, 1936 in Fitchburg, MA and passed away May 11, 2016 at his home in Diamond Springs, CA with his devoted family and friends by his side.Gene is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie, children Jeanne Rheault, Kenneth Rheault, Patrice Rheault, Joanne Strickler, Gerald Rheault and Therese Arnone, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives. Gene served his country in the US Air Force, was one of the founding fathers in laser technology and retired as an electrical engineer. His faith guided him through his career and life. Gene enjoyed the guitar and photography but will especially be remembered for his devotion to his family and his church family. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service Monday 5/23/2016 at 11:30am at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, 895 Green St., Placerville, CA.
