

Time doesn’t heal our pain – it only makes us treasure you more. We shed tears that you are gone and smile because you have lived. Geoffrey Allan Boyd, born March 4, 1935 in Santa Rosa, CA died peacefully, surrounded by family on June 15, 2011. He is predeceased by parents Geoffrey Allan Boyd, DVM and Pearl Rowena Boyd, brothers Carl Hendrix and Thomas Boyd. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Anna, his eight beautiful, loving children Jennifer, Geoffrey, Brenda, Carl, Joseph, Hart, Annie and Adam, brothers Bruce and Robert, and five grandchildren, Carissa, Robert, Dante, Maya and Marron. In addition to his family, Geoff’s other great love was art. He was selected to have his painting titled “Do you remember us?” featured at the 2005 Crocker-Kingsley exhibition, was an active member of the Placerville art community, served as a judge for the Banners on Parade Installations and in 2008 was the featured artist at The Upstairs Art Gallery in Placerville. He was a loving husband, a doting father, grandfather and friend. His spirit has flown to a plane of beauty beyond description. An appreciation of Geoff’s life will be held Saturday, June, 25, at Cameron Park Community Center, 3200 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park, from 1:30-3:30pm.
