Harold "Hal" Henry Miller Jr.

Harold Henry Miller Jr, 82, was taken home to be with his Lord on October 21, 2015. He was born May 16, 1933 to Harold and Verna Miller in Chicago, Illinois. Hal passed away October 21, 2015 in Sacramento, California.

Hal served in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He later lived in Phoenix, Arizona where he met and married the love of his life, Sonia. Together they moved to Placerville where they raised their six children and opened the H and S Gas Mart which Hal own for over 25 years. He loved his work very much and in his retirement he enjoyed taking cruises, pinochle, fishing and camping.

Hal is survived by his children Rick (Debbie) Miller, Tamra (Terry) Rice, Randy (Kristin) Payne, Trista Miller and Kip (Michelle) Miller and his fiancée Bettie McGee. Grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 4. Hal was preceded in death by his wife Sonia and daughter Elaine Miller.

A funeral service will be held Saturday 10/31/2015 at 1:00pm at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2588 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, California.
