

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Charles Kalman of San Jacinto, California. He passed away from a heart attack at the age of 92 on October 17, 2023 in Roseville, California.
Harry Kalman was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Harry and Louise Jennie Kalman on June 2, 1931. He married Lois Kalman on Saint Patrick's Day, March 17, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They had four children; Susan, Timothy, Jeffery, and Katharine. After Lois's death, he married Carol Kalman on April 17, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is also when Carol’s children, Michael and Dawn joined the family. After Carol's death, Harry had a long relationship with Ursula Wigand.
Harry graduated from Spirit Lake High School in Spirit Lake, Idaho. He also attended East Los Angeles College in California. He worked as a fireman for both the Milwaukee Fire Department in Wisconsin and the San Gabriel Fire Department in California for 25 years. Harry also worked hard at his own roofing business.
Harry always longed for adventure and in 1963 he moved his family from Wisconsin to California. His greatest passion was fishing in the waters of Mexico. After retiring in his 40’s, he purchased a second home in Bahia de los Angeles, Mexico. He had a great time with all his friends fishing off his boat and driving his dune buggy along the seashore. He always longed to be at the beach and was happiest there. Wherever Harry went, his friends and family always enjoyed listening to his interesting tales.
Harry enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Mexico, Spain, Hong Kong, and Asia.
Harry Kalman is preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Kalman, his second wife, Carol Kalman, his companion, Ursula Wigand, his son Timothy Kalman, his brother Allan Kalman, and both parents Harry Kalman and Louise Kalman Bieber.
Harry Kalman is survived by five of his children; Susan Kalman, Jeffery Kalman, Katharine (Thomas) Hanson, Michael Millam, and Dawn (Steve) Kellogg. He is also survived by his brothers Milton Kalman and Walter (Kathy) Kalman. He had four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Harry will truly be missed by his friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on December 2, Loma Linda, California
