

James “Jim” Eugene Mosier, 68, of El Dorado passed away at Marshall Hospital in Placerville on October 10, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol, and a son, Sean, both of El Dorado. Jim was born on April 23, 1942 in Weed, CA and in 1945 the family relocated to the Sacramento area where Jim was to spend most of his life. Prior to moving to the Sierra Foothills in 2003, Jim and his family resided for many years in Wilton, south of Sacramento. He was a plasterer for 30 years and a member of the Plasterer’s Local Union #295. He enjoyed all types of hunting and especially loved hunting with his hounds. Jim found his love of mules and always took pleasure in the trail rides. He was a member of California Houndsmen for Conservation, Elegant Ears Mule Assoc., Sierra Trail Blazers, and the NAGS riding club. At Jim’s request, no services will be held. Private interment held at Westwood Hills Cemetery, Placerville, CA. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. You may express condolences to the family at www.chapelofthepinesfunerals.com.
