Born September 2, 1921 in Daly City, CA, went home to the Lord on December 2, 2010 in Placerville, CA. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Keith Garrison. She is survived by three loving and devoted sons, Dean Garrison, Richard Garrison and wife Donna, and Dale Garrison; grandchildren Robert, Joye, Mike, and Grant; and 6 great-grandchildren. Jan was fond of saying "Children are the flowers in the garden of life, and I have a beautiful garden". A long time resident of Placerville, Jan was actively involved in church and community activities. Jan never had an unkind word for any one; everyone always felt better for having known her. Friends are invited to join the family at the funeral service on Thursday, December 9, 2010, 2:00 p.m., at First Lutheran Church of Placerville. Interment at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
