I'm very late with this as I didn't know John had passed. I'm so sorry to hear this but know John was not afraid and looked forward to the next phase and being reunited with his wife. John was so very good to me and we continued a special friendship long after he retired from El Camino College and I also no longer worked there. He was very inspirational to me and always a comfort. He was a very special man that connected me with opportunities  that greatly influenced the direction of my career and my life. I'll always be grateful to him and will remember him so fondly.  Rest in Peace, my friend.

We just found out about John's Homegoing and am so sorry we didn't know sooner in order to express our love and extend our condolences to the family.  John was a dear friend to us when we were college students.  He was working on campus at LABC and basically chaperoned our courtship.  Larry was working part-time for him on campus.  

Later, once we were appointed as missionaries to Spain, John and Bessie were prayer and financial supporters. I remember visiting John, Bessie and Suzi years ago at their lovely home.  John was still such fun to be around.  Our last contact was after he wrote his book and wanted some help translating it into Spanish. He called us here in Spain and we had a great conversation - full of laughs, memories and joy.

What a joyful blessing to have known John, to be encouraged by him, to be challenged and blessed. Heaven will certainly be a great reunion.

Mr. Stimac has been a family friend for years. After our dad passed away he would continue to call and check in on our mom and the kids (all of which were adults). After our mom passed, Mr. Stimac would continue to call us and check in to see how things are going and to remind us to continue to walk with the Lord (he always ended the conversation with that and a blessing.) 
I can still hear his voice, with that thick accent, calling me. I will miss those phone calls but know he will continue to think of us in heaven.

Suzi and family…
We will all miss John’s presence here on earth. He was very proud of his family. John had great life. He  was a blessing to all who knew him. We are very lucky to have spent time with Suzi Joh and Bessie. Always had fun and our visit together was very spiritual inspiring and full of love. So so proud of you Suzi.., your mom and dad are so proud of you and love you very much! Suzi … you have the best qualities of your mom and dad… we love you and will always be here for you❤️
