Marian Louise Moore

Marian Louise Moore was born on June 24, 1937 in Oakland, CA and quietly slipped away on December 6, 2017 while with loving family members. She married Duane Moore on July 2, 1962 and they spent 52 wonderful years together until his passing in 2014.

Some of Marian’s fondest memories were of times spent in Camp Meeker, CA. From the 50s to the 70s, while living in Sebastopol, Marian worked with drill teams, a baton majorettes team called the Marianetts and Puppeteers, taught ballet and tap dancing. In 1979, Marian and Duane moved to Placerville where they settled in and she began a career spanning more than 35 years as a real estate agent. Marian was known by all to be a very giving person, one who always put her family first.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Duane. She is survived by 4 sons, Walter Ray (Rachel) Robinson, Scott Anthony (Lorrie) Robinson, Troy Andrew (Peggy) Moore and Jerry Duane Moore; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
