Nancy Louise Robey

Nancy was born on June 19th, 1938, to Alice Louise Vincent Currie and John Herbert Currie in San Francisco, California.

Nancy graduated from Willow Glen High School in 1956. She was a talented musician, playing first string Viola for her High School. After high school she went on to graduate from San Francisco State University in 1961. She then obtained her teaching credentials and worked as a passionate teacher at Lester Shields Elementary School in San Jose, California for 32 years. She loved teaching 2nd and 3rd grades and did so most of her teaching years.

Nancy met her husband Fredric William Walker while working at Alum Rock School District. They wed in 1970 and together had beloved children, Lori Elizabeth Walker (Osen) and Michael Anthony Walker.

Nancy is survived by her second husband, Robert Robey, her daughter Lori Osen and son-in-law, Kevin Osen; her daughter-law, Marjorie Walker and her three grandchildren, Lars Fredric Osen, Alexa June Osen, Milan Thibaut Walker and, her cousin Renee Wade.

She enjoyed 50 plus years of friendship with her best friend, Jan Dixon. They went on many wonderful trips to Hawaii and Lake Tahoe.

Upon retirement in 1998, Nancy moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, Robert Robey. Nancy became an avid lover of scrapbooking during her retirement years in Las Vegas.

There will be a service on February 28th, 2023, at 11:00am at Chapel of the Pines in Placerville, California.

We love and will miss her greatly.
