Patrick L. Steiner

Patrick Louis Steiner of Garden Valley, California passed away early Saturday, September 1, 2012, with his family and close friends by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and son (Louis, Rose, and Jared Steiner).

Patrick was born in Tacoma, Washington on December 19, 1950, to Louis and Rose Steiner. Soon after Patrick was born, the Steiner family moved to Carmichael, California, which was where Patrick grew up. He went to St. John's Catholic School, then graduated from Del Campo High School in 1969.

After high school, Patrick went into the Army, served in Vietnam, and in 1972 was honorably discharged. In 1974, he met his wife and love of his life, Nancy. In 1985, Nancy and Patrick moved to Garden Valley, California. Patrick is survived by his wife and best friend, Nancy Steiner, daughter, Christina Steiner-Conley, son-in-law, Matt Conley, son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Heidi Prine, and five grandchildren, Ally and Nick Conley, and Reily, Laura, and Noah Prine. Service will be held at St. James Church at 2831 Harkness St., Georgetown, California 95634 on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Rosary will begin at 10:30am and Mass will follow at 11:00am.
