Weiss – Josephine A., of Bethpage, NY, passed away on March 17, 2023. Devoted wife, of 63 years, who will now join the love of her life, Richard. Loving mother of John (Carolyn), Robert (Pamela), Denise (Nicholas) Milano, Edward (Marci), Thomas (Annemarie), Diane (John) Gibbons, and Richard. Cherished grandmother to Michael, Grant, Parker, Morgan, Claudia, Audrey, Sabrina, Paige, Alec, Maximus, Anna and Erin. Josephine was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who lived for her family. Family and friends may visit at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 655 Old Country Rd., Plainview, NY, on Wednesday, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service for Josephine will be Thursday, 11:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Hicksville, NY. Interment Thursday at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association .
