Born on December 12th, 1947, to the loving embrace of Alfred and Celia Ruocchio, Margaret's journey through life was one illuminated by the warmth of familial love and the radiance of her own gentle spirit. She was the cherished wife of Marty Ippolito, their union gracing the world with 27 years of shared love and devotion.
Within the heart of her family, Margaret found her truest joy. As the beloved mother of Jennifer Crawford (Patrick), Margaret Rigney (Raymond), and the late Jessica LaPenta (Michael), her nurturing embrace knew no bounds. Her love extended beyond her immediate family to embrace her cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Emma, and Ava Crawford and Thomas and Michael Ippolito, who held a special place in her heart. Margaret's essence was woven into the fabric of their lives, her presence a comforting embrace, and her love an enduring beacon guiding their way.
Margaret's life was a testament to resilience, bravery, and unwavering determination. In the face of life's trials, she stood steadfast, her spirit unyielding, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Margaret's life during the visitation on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 4-8PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 655 Old Country Road, Plainview NY 11803. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, at 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 175 Wolf Hill Road, Melville NY, 11746, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale NY. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Margaret's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Although Margaret's physical presence may be absent, her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she find eternal peace, surrounded by the boundless love of her family and friends, her legacy of love enduring for all eternity.
