

She was born on October 2, 1944 in Libertyville, Illinois, to Arthur and Helen Fink. Ardeth graduated from Libertyville High School and was a member of the Class of 1962.
She married Joseph E. Glatz on April 4, 1964 also in Libertyville, Illinois.
A survivor of polio during childhood, and against all odds, Ardeth went on to raise a family and enjoyed a long career at the IRS. She always appreciated the little things in life as the most meaningful, including playing with her grandchildren, and enjoying nature. In recent years, she discovered a latent aptitude for art and enjoyed painting. She always believed maintaining and positive attitude was more important than circumstances - wisdom she imparted to her progency.
Ardeth was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Arthur Fink.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Joseph E. Glatz; by her brother: Arthur Fink of La Mesa, California, her sons: Steven A. Glatz and Robert E. Glatz, both of Plano, and Brian A. Glatz of Smithville, Rhode Island.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Calgary, Elle, Carson, Carrigan, Cayden, Ethan, Chloe, and Alyssa; as well as so many close friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:30 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 1201 N. Alma Drive, Plano, TX 75075, where Ardeth and her family have been parishioners since the Church's establishment as a Parish in the Diocese of Dallas during the late 1960s.
