She was a beloved member of the community, known by her friends, family and colleagues as a wonderful soul with a gentle demeanor and warm personality. Her love of God was and still is an inspiration to many.
Betty is survived by three children: Paul Harris, of Lewisville; Van Harris, of Corinth; and Gregg Harris, of Plano. Five granddaughters also survive her.
A memorial service for Betty will be held at First United Methodist Church of Plano, 3160 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074 on October 30th at 10am with the burial immediately following.
