Daniel was born on April 12, 1985, in Saginaw, Michigan.
After serving in the U.S. Army for four years, including a one-year tour in Afghanistan, he returned to Florida to earn his Masters at Full Sail University in Orlando.
Daniel was adventurous and loved being outdoors.
His favorite place was his property in the woods, where he built a cabin and many hunting blinds.
He also loved fishing, golfing, swimming, and running. Dan and his sister had just completed a race in California.
When indoors, he enjoyed writing and recording music in various genres and styles and watching college and pro football and basketball. He played baseball, tennis, and loved waterskiing and wakeboarding.
During his 35 years, Dan lived in California, Florida, Colorado, and Texas. He traveled to many countries worldwide and made friends wherever he went. His friends knew that he would do anything for them if asked.
Dan started a roofing business in Dallas, Texas where he had grand plans to grow the business.
Daniel’s family is grateful for the excellent care he received at the Medical Center in McKinney, Dallas VA Medical Center Spinal Cord Injury Unit, and the Medical City Plano, Texas.
A Memorial Serivce & Celebration of Dan's Life will be planned when possible at a later date.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Paralyzed American Veterans would be most appreciated.
