She was a homemaker and wonderful mother. She was an ardent volunteer and servant in both community and church activities. Community activities included Cub Scout Den Mother. PTA President and Information and Referral volunteer. She served on the church altar and Flower Guilds, Cursillo, and Kairos prison ministry.
Betty is survived by her husband of 61 years of marriage, James, three children and their spouses William and his wife Sharon, Julie Lindley and her husband Bill, and Susan Johnson and her husband Darrell, grandchildren Katherine and Lou Lindley, Katherine Foote and Marcus Bomberger.
She is predeceased by her son John.
Memorial Service and celebration of life will be held at the Church of the Epiphany Richardson, TX Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM.
The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to a charity of your choice.
