Ethel Anna Sutton was born on September 4, 1918 to William and Elizabeth Ackerman in Pittsburgh, PA. Ethel grew up and married William Sutton Sr. and together they had 3 children. Ethel could be described as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved sewing and cooking for her family and did so often. She loved getting to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and when she could, great grandchildren. Ethel was a loyal member of the St. Mark’s Catholic Church and attended Mass regularly. Ethel is survived by her son William Sutton, her daughter Eileen, and her husband Richard, Heddins, and daughter in law Robbie Sutton. Ethel is also survived by her grandchildren: Joseph Ward, Matthew Ward, Rebecca Sutton, Chris Sutton, Jay Sutton, and Stephanie Sedillo. Ethel also leaves behind her great grandchildren: Delilah, Lucas, Max, Angelica, Andrew, Dylan, Daniel, April, and Brooklyn. A visitation and rosary will take place at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on Thursday. The visitation will start at 6 and the rosary will take place at 7. The funeral mass will take place the next day at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 11.
